One of the key projects I delivered while at N Brown was introducing Next Day Click & Collect as a new delivery option for the e‑commerce platform. This required re‑architecting the checkout flow, along with a new design and improved UX across every step. The work involved creating new UI components, building API routes to aggregate data from multiple back‑end and third‑party services, implementing per‑product collection‑time logic, and modernising existing code to improve modularity and maintainability while fixing outstanding bugs.

Project for Google, aimed at empowering small and medium‑sized businesses (SMBs) to create better‑performing ads. The project centered around a direct mailer that launched an interactive augmented reality (AR) experience and supporting website. The AR experience visualised the process of building a rocket, with each stage representing a critical step in preparing successful Google Ads campaigns, and concluding with the rocket launching to represent a campaign going live.

Data animation built for BAE Systems. The animation showed the threats BAE Systems products detected in Visa's systems, the products that flagged them, the sources behind them, the resulting collisions, the alerts created, and finally how those alerts related to each other. It ran on a loop, fetching fresh JSON from an API endpoint during each cycle and using the new data to rebuild the animation from scratch, with element counts, sizes, positions, and connecting paths all recalculated on the fly. No two cycles looked alike. The most technically challenging part was linking the alerts (the red connecting paths): because each alert's position was itself data‑driven, the script had to locate every alert at runtime and plot the lines between them, while ensuring no path crossed the central node or another path. The animation also had to adapt to different display aspect ratios, making the collision‑free layout even harder to calculate.

Project for Visa called Navigate Experiences Platform. This was a B2B web app to replace the in‑person experience offered by Visa’s Innovation Centres. After the sign up and login flow, the user was presented with a welcome screen that used photography to look like a physical lobby. Interactive elements such as screens and noticeboards served as hotspots leading to separate interactive journeys, which explained products through story‑driven content. The screens shown are examples from one of the product journeys. The journeys used scroll‑driven GSAP animations and included inline videos and interactive elements.

Crossword web app for The Sunday Times, featured inside their official iPad app. Built in JavaScript and designed to work offline, it used an HTML5 AppCache manifest for asset caching and the Web SQL Database API to store each user's progress so puzzles could be resumed. Since the iPad's system keyboard took up too much of the screen to leave room for the grid, a compact on‑screen keyboard was designed and built from scratch. Each week's puzzle was fetched as JSON and parsed into the game. Once completed, it could be submitted to The Sunday Times Crossword Club via a competition entry form, reached by a submit button that used a CSS3 3D flip animation to reveal the form.

E‑commerce website for Baby Bebe Boutique, a high‑end children's clothing brand. As co‑founder, I was responsible for the brand identity, design, and full‑stack build. The site was built on Zen Cart but extensively customised, including a fully bespoke design replacing the default theme. Significant development work went into extending or replacing Zen Cart's default functionality - across checkout, product presentation, shipping and tax logic, transactional emails, analytics, performance, and SEO.
